Cultural Threads Collection:
A Tribute To Songket Weaving

LOKA MADE and CHAGEE join hands in a meaningful collaboration —

a tribute woven from the rich threads of Malaysia’s cultural tapestry with the ‘Cultural Threads Collection.’

The collection features a woven postcard series showcasing four iconic designs: Rafflesia, Butterfly, Wau, and Iban Shield.

Each adorned with songket-inspired motifs that reimagine heritage through a modern lens.

Building on this, we crafted embroidered keychains shaped like CHAGEE cups, carrying the same four designs. These were then transformed into lanyards with charming small charms, blending heritage seamlessly into everyday wear.

Through this collection, LOKA MADE and CHAGEE reimagine heritage with a fresh twist,

aiming to inspire pride and remind us that culture is worth celebrating every day.

Woven Postcard & Charm Series

Rooted in shared values, the ‘Cultural Threads Collection’

blends heritage with creativity and brings Malaysian culture into the rhythm of modern life.

We believe that tradition lives on when it’s lived and loved in everyday moments. Here’s to honouring our roots — together.

The Soaring Dream

A cherished national icon, the Wau Bulan once soared across Kelantan's skies. Its crescent tail dancing in the wind. Rooted in tradition and made to fly, it symbolises imgination, ambition, and the artistic pride of the Malay people.

The Graceful Journey

Graceful and poised, the butterfly is a timeless symbol of transformation, growth, and hope. Inspired by Malaysia’s delicate biodiversity, it speaks to the quiet strength found in growth and change.

The Bold Bloom

Found deep in Malaysia’s rainforests, the rare Rafflesia blooms with striking beauty. A symbol of strength and resilience, it reminds us to stand tall, embrace our uniqueness, and bloom boldly in the face of adversity.

The Courage Within

A symbol of protection and bravery, the Iban Shield honours the strength and heritage of Malaysia’s indigenous people. Once a tool of defence, it now represents unity, courage, and pride, reminding us to honour the legacy of those who came before us.
